Pastor Jim and Sharon got married in October of 1982.  He was 27, she was 25. They both had good jobs, but were not doing well in their marriage or financially. Sharon was invited to church by a co-worker and eventually got saved in August of 1984. Pastor Jim came in and got saved at the end of September. God began to work greatly in their lives.

They were sent to pioneer a church in Indianapolis in March of 1988. They were there until August of 1992, then went to Lancaster, California 

to take over a small pioneer church.  From there, they came to Phoenix to assist in August of 1994.

 

In April 1996, they took over The Door/La Puerta and were there for almost two years.

Pastor Jim and Sharon went to Uganda as missionaries at the beginning of March 1998 and nationalized the church there. They came to Prescott at the beginning of 2002 and evangelized for one year. Then, Pastor Jim took the church in Casa Grande. He was there until May 12, 2003. That same year Pastor Jim and Sharon returned to Phoenix and he is the current Pastor of The Door/La Puerta CFM. Along with being the full time Pastor in Phoenix, AZ, he is still the overseer of the Uganda Fellowship.
